In press: Meddling Kids

I will have more to say about this as it comes out, but this is a work about the depiction of belief on children’s television, using Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and Gravity Falls as the texts.

In the interim, I did contribute a chapter to Folk Horror: New Global Pathways, edited by Dawn Keetley and Ruth Heholt (University of Wales Press, 2023) titled “‘Wow, this place is spooky at night!’ Suburban Ennui, Legend Quests and What Folk Horror Shares with Scooby-Doo.” The book is also distributed in North America by the University of Chicago Press.
