I'm going to four of the six dates of the West Meets East comedy tour, starting tomorrow night in Sydney. I don't know what I'm looking for, but the chance of seeing four young but seasoned comics hone their sets in small venues really appeals.
I'll write from the road, and maybe interview some of the comics. Also, I'm going to try and read a few comic biographies. Basically: I'm hiding from students and family but justifying it with 'research.'
